We are a local gymnastics company who have helped 1000s of kids fall in love with gymnastics and build strength and resilience in a safe and friendly environment around Surrey supporting within schools and within our external club classes held in the following locations during evenings and Saturdays – Chessington, Feltham, Hinchley Wood, Kingston, New Malden, Sunbury-on-Thames, Surbiton, Thames Ditton & Worcester Park.

Our company founder Geoff Rellis, an ex Irish international gymnast, set up Good Life Gymnastics in 2015 to bring quality and professional gymnastics coaching to as many children as possible. We now run our own recreational gymnastics classes for children ages 3 – 16yrs in 9 locations around Surrey and more importantly, offer gymnastics support to many schools in the area for curriculum teaching, school clubs, inset day staff training and support organising sports events and competitions.

Current Job Opportunities - Full-time (40 hours per week)

Full-time, Permanent
Full-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £18,000 - £24,000 per year

1. Full time Lead Coach - 18 years + - Ideally with their own car as travel to multiple locations is a must however most venues have good transport links

You will be responsible for coaching both curriculum classes within schools around the area (approximate radius 10 miles around Kingston) during the school day and coaching in our external classes taught to 3-16yr olds 4 evenings a week and Saturdays up until 3pm - venues to be decided. All work will be within term time and holidays are to be taken during school holidays only. Full training will be provided and you will initially be shadowed by a Manager, however a sports coaching/teacher background is highly recommended . Coaches will be expected to travel to various locations throughout the week.

Responsibilities will include - Inside gym:

Equipment set up and take down under the supervision of lead coach
Responsible for following the class entry procedure
Demonstrate elements of the session - warm up (including pulse raiser and stretch), activities on equipment etc.
Be able to instruct a pulse raiser and full body stretch
Manage the progress of the gymnasts at your stations
Help with Toilet breaks
Manage Assistant Coach or Volunteers during warm ups and stations
Ensure a high standard of gymnastics, safety and customer service is maintained at all times
Attend all up-skill training provided for your job role

Outside gym:
Assist the administration team with Administration duties ( up to 10 hours per week from the office in Chessington)

My twin daughters have been attending the Good Life Gymnastics lunch club at their school and they're loving it. They particularly enjoyed performing a routine at their summer fair and it was lovely for us parents to see what they've been learning too. They speak very fondly of their teacher, Zaara. We have booked a couple of holiday club dates over the summer in Hinchley Wood which they are also looking forward to.

I was blown away yesterday by the incredible gymnastic displays at Malden Manor’s Summer Fair! The children were incredible and Zaara is just fantastic! The organisation and professionalism is outstanding! My daughter attends Zaara’s lunchtime club at school and after seeing the show yesterday it is clear why my daughter loves it so much! My 3yr old son loves going to Good Life Gymnastics! He has thrived there learning social skills - listening and waiting his turn whilst also safely doing gymnastics!I’d recommend to friends for a fun recreational gymnastics class!

My daughter has been attending Good Life Gymnastics Club for a number of years now and absolutely loves it. The coaches are brilliant and she has enjoyed the progression she has seen in a pressure free environment. She particularly loved taking part in a competition at the end of last year and the approach the coaches took to this experience to ensure all the children enjoyed it. A great club where kids can learn and improve on their gymnastics, without the additional pressures of the larger clubs. Would totally recommend. My daughter will miss it now that we are moving away.
