SUBSCRIPTION - What is a subscription?
Our subscriptions are rolling on a 12 monthly basis that are subject to change every August depending on how many sessions across the year are taught from September to July (excluding school holidays). These increases/decreases will be minimal, and you will be notified before, if any changes will occur starting August 1st of each year. You will only ever be charged for the classes that you have signed up for.
SUBSCRIPTION - When does the subscription run from and to?
The subscription will run from August 1st to July 31st every year. The monthly fee is based on the total number of weeks taught throughout the whole year. A one-off cover charge will be added to the start of any subscription started after August 1st to ensure all classes are paid for. You will only ever pay for the number of classes attended, including the 4 week cancellation period, should you wish to cancel. A refund will be processed if you have overpaid.
SUBSCRIPTION - How do I set up my subscription?
Once you have booked your child into the class online, an email will be sent to you with step by step instructions.
SUBSCRIPTION - Can I only pay by direct debit?
Yes, subscriptions are only set up as a direct debit.
SUBSCRIPTION - Why have I been charged a covering payment?
A covering payment is an additional one-off charge that is added to your first monthly subscription if you have started classes after the 1st of the month. Your monthly subscription price is based on your child doing 12 months of our classes between August 1st and July 31st (excluding school holidays). If your child signs up at any point after the first payment run on August 1st, your first payment will only start from the 1st of the following month therefore any outstanding fees will be added as a cover charge to your first payment.
SUBSCRIPTION - What happens if I miss a payment?
If we were unable to collect your monthly subscription payment on the 1st of the month, we will attempt to take payment 3 days later, and then 5 days thereafter. After which, we will attempt to phone and e-mail you explaining that the insurance for your child is void unless payment is received and you will receive a letter chasing payment through your child at class. Unfortunately if we do not have contact from you following this, we will have no choice but to cancel your subscription and class place for your child. Please contact the Admin team on 0203 1982680 immediately to resolve any issues.
CANCELLATIONS - How much notice do I need to give to cancel my subscription?
Please note that we require a minimum of 1 months notice from the 1st of every month. For example, if you give notice on the 19th October, your payment on the 1st of November will still come out and you will be entitled to stay in class until the end of November.
SUBSCRIPTION - What happens to my bank details once I cancel my subscription?
After we have received written notice, you will be notified when we cancel the direct debit and subscription.
SUBSCRIPTION - Is my online payment secure?
We try our best to ensure all online payments are secure and use a software called Stripe to ensure the maximum security.
SUBSCRIPTION - How do I notify you of changes to my bank details?
If you are aware that there are changes to your bank details, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. If a card has declined for any reason, we will be made aware through our system and contact you. Bank details can be changed on your login page.
SUBSCRIPTION - Do I have to pay a set up or registration fee?
There are no set-up administration fees for Good Life Gymnastics.
CANCELLATIONS - Can my subcsription be cancelled due to illness or injury?
If your child is unable to carry on with his/her gymnastics classes due to illness or injury as suggested buy their doctor, there are 2 options available to you:
SUBSCRIPTION - Why do I have to continue paying throughout the school holidays when there are no classes on?
The fees cover up to 38 weeks out of the 52 weeks of the year ( depending on which classes you attend). The total cost is spread over 12 months to make it easier for parents, as they will be paying via direct debit (Mondays will be different due to bank holidays).
SUBSCRIPTION - When do I need to renew my subscription?
You will never have to renew your subscription however should your bank details change please notify us as soon as possible.
SIBLING DISCOUNT - Do I get my sibling discount if they start mid-way throughout the year?
The sibling discount will be added directly by the Admin team.
WEEKLY CLASSES - What happens if a class is cancelled by Good Life Gymnastics?
In the unlikely event that a class is cancelled, a makeup class will be scheduled and you will be notified.
TRIALS - If I miss my trial, can it be moved to a future date or be refunded?
All trial dates will only be transferable if we are notified by e-mail to email@example.com 48 hours prior to the trial date and this can only be transferred to the following week one time only. These are not refundable. Most classes do have waiting lists therefore should a child not attend a trial and we are not informed, we will assume that the child does not want his/her place and we will offer that place to the next person on the waiting list. If you know there will be a problem attending this date in advance of the trial, please contact us as soon as possible.
SIBLING DISCOUNT - Is there a sibling discount for holiday workshops and booster courses?
Holiday Workshops and booster courses have been designed to be cost effective however we have members discount for anyone signed up to our weekly classes. Please contact us for further details.
LOST PROPERTY - Where is it kept?
Each venue has it's own lost property box and therefore all lost property found will be left in the box at the venue. If a student requires something urgently please get in touch with us and we can arrange for a coach to keep the property with him/herself and you can collect it at the next available class and venue that week.
CLASS INFORMATION - What should my child wear?
Comfortable clothes which are easy to move in. Our classes are very active and the hall can get warm so if your child gets hot quickly, they should wear shorts and a T-shirt. We have Good Life Gymnastics merchandise which isn't compulsory but is perfect for the class, availble to buy within the gyms and online. The children are barefoot during the class therefore wearing shoes which are easy to remove and put on again after class can save time.
CLASS INFORMATION - What should I do with long hair or jewllery?
Long hair should always be tied back and all jewllery removed before the class for your child's safety and comfort.
CLASS INFORMATION - What should my child bring?
A filled water bottle to all classes.
VENUE INFORMATION - Is there a changing room/ waiting area?
HINCHLEY WOOD - We have a very small waiting area at the entrance of the school withe few chair for parents however we encourage a drop off system for your children where possible. We kindly ask that your child brings as little as possible with them as they can only bring a water bottle into the gym hall with them. We would suggest that you leave all jewellery and other valuables at home.
WORKSHOPS/BOOSTER COURSES - What happens if I have to cancel my child's booking for a workshop/booster course?
Our general policy is to ask for one week's writtten notice which must be given in the event of cancelling either a week or day workshop booking, otherwise you will be charged the full amount for that booking. If a week or more notice is given, then a 95% refund will be made. The 5% reduction will be passed on to our supplier who charges us a refund administration fee. This is not kept by Good Life Gymnastics. If there are extenuating circumstances, we will endeavour to be as flexible as possible in rebooking you on to a workshop on another day/week. This will be subject to availability and only to be used within the same school holiday. This will be subject to our "Rearranging of Workshops" policy found in our T & C's.
SUBSCRIPTION: COVERING PAYMENT - what is a covering payment?
A covering payment is a one-off charge that is added to your first monthly subscription payment. This charge is to cover any unpaid classes attended in your first month prior to your first payment. We ask for payment in advance of the month of classes attended.
COVID-19 CANCELLATION OF HOLIDAY CAMPS - Do I get a full refund if the holiday camp is cancelled due to new government guidelines?
If the government guidelines change and we are unable to go ahead with the holiday camps, then a full refund will be given.
